Royal Oak Chargers Volunteer Duties
Concessions – Total of 6 volunteers per game (4 in concession stand and 2 running the grill)
There are many responsibilities in the concession stand. The jobs for the concession stand are as follows:
Food Preparation – Assembling hotdogs, making walking tacos, making popcorn, and wrapping pizza.
Drink Preparation – Making Hot Chocolate and Coffee, assisting with cold drink orders for customers.
Cashier – Accepts money from customers.
Window Reception – Takes customer orders, accepts money and helps retrieve necessary items to complete the transaction.
Grill- Help flip some burgers or dogs.
Boosters – 2 volunteers per game
Volunteers in the booster area will be responsible for assisting customers with apparel purchases. Participants will also be handling the bake sale.
50/50 – 2 volunteers per game
Do you want to help, but you still want to watch the game? This is the job for you! In the first 2 quarters of each football game we sell 50/50 tickets. The volunteers for this job will walk through the stands yelling 50/50 and collecting money and giving out tickets. At the end of half time all the tickets will be broken up and shuffled. One ticket will be pulled and a winner will be announced. The winner will receive half of the money collected and the Royal Oak Chargers will receive the other half.
Chain Gang/ Down Box – 3 volunteers per game
The chain gang is for the parent who wants to be a part of the action. Each game the Royal Oak Chargers need 3 spectators to move the chain along with the ball. You will be in on all the action.
Gate- 3 volunteers per game
We will need volunteers to take money & give a ticket to each spectator and another person to accept the tickets and allow entry into the stadium.
